We are overjoyed to share some truly exciting news with you. Our innovative initiative, the “Virtual Grace” program, has received a generous grant of $25,100 from the Texas Methodist Foundation (TMF). This support will be instrumental in launching our program, which has been designed to serve our cherished senior members, from Gen X to the WWII generation.

The Virtual Grace program, set to officially commence on August 1, 2023, was conceived out of a desire to alleviate the challenges that our senior community members face. Isolation, loneliness, and grief have been prevalent, especially due to the pandemic’s ongoing effects. We felt an urgent need to address this and thus, Virtual Grace was born.
Through the application of modern technology, Virtual Grace bridges the physical divide, creating an online platform for spiritual growth. This unique approach includes elements of spiritual formation such as prayer, scripture study, hymn singing, virtual fellowship, and a touch of the arts. The goal? To empower our senior members to engage fully in a dynamic online community, providing opportunities for education, fellowship, prayer, and holistic spiritual growth.
This grant from TMF does more than provide financial support—it is a testament to the faith in our mission to offer spiritual healing and community to those who might otherwise feel isolated. The affirmation that every effort made to ease the struggles of our senior community members is a step towards a better world is deeply humbling.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Texas Methodist Foundation for their generous support and partnership in this impactful project. We also thank every individual who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this project possible.
To our senior community members who are set to embark on this journey with us, we say, “Welcome to Virtual Grace. We see you. We hear you. And we are here for you.”
We encourage everyone to share this exhilarating news with their networks. As you share this news on your social media platforms, please use the hashtag #TMFgrants.
