The Belin Group carries my work with institutions: consulting, training, and formation resources for churches, seminaries, denominational bodies, and the leaders who serve them. For four decades my work has emerged from this conviction: formation is what sustains communities, institutions, and leaders over time.
Where our work begins
Most institutions plan well. The struggle lives deeper, in the interior life of the organization: its habits, its practices, its spiritual culture. The Belin Group begins there, in the daily disciplines that form leaders and communities capable of sustaining what they build.
The full claim, and the sequence the work follows, is set out in the Framework.
Our practice
The work is organized around four connected domains.
- Christian formation
- The rhythms of prayer, discernment, and learning that shape the soul over time.
- Leadership development
- Equipping leaders for adaptive, creative ministry, grounded in character as much as competence.
- Spiritually grounded strategy
- Helping institutions move from anxiety to clarity, and stay there.
- Publishing and platform work
- Giving serious work the reach it deserves.
For congregations and lay leaders, the Local Church Leadership Series offers practical formation guides for trustees, stewards, class leaders, and all members, available through the publishing house.
To begin
Every engagement begins with listening. If your congregation, seminary, or organization is weighing a season of work together, I invite your correspondence at belin@roderickbelin.com.
And for senior leaders carrying what cannot be set down in public, there is a quieter room.
